Biochemistry helps to create alternative supply source to oil by transforming renewable raw materials from plants and by reducing the use of industrial chemistry and promoting industrial fermentation. At industrial stage, the use of biochemistry aspects is known as industrial biochemisry.
Molecular biotechnology is a part of biotechnology, which consists of molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, genetics, and cell biology and is used to study and engineer nucleic acids and proteins for applications in areas such as human and animal health, agriculture, and the environment.
